Our partnership started with Gerard far before 1999.  Brothers, Kyle Walker and Ryan Walker, grew up in the roofing business as kids. Our father, Bill Walker, built custom homes and offered Gerard as a roofing choice. Walker Brothers took the roofing side of his business over when he took a job with Headwaters as the National Sales Manager.

What makes homeowners choose Gerard? It could be the aesthetics, the functionality, or the protection... or all three! For homeowner, Kathleen Lenkeit, it was a combination of reasons. 

"Our house was built in 1990 with a wood shake roof.  Several years ago, we knew that it was time start seriously thinking about a new roof.  Most, but not all, of the houses on our street had gotten new roofs, and all of them were composition shingles.  While those roofs certainly weren't ugly, they just weren't what we wanted.
